DK gives us ODSG 1.5 produced solely by long time producer/friend/cousin LB as a lyrical gift and avenue to his much slept on talents as an artist. For years he's been trying to break his brand of Dallas Hip-Hop by being 100% real and not selling out to a certain crowd, but like most keeping-it-real artists and actual lyrical artists, particularly in Dallas, he's being ignored by the so-called "media outlets" and "promoters" in his home city. Tie that in with the struggles of being a college graduate with many bills to pay, frustrations of Baby Momma Drama and the feeling that no one really cares about what you're doing, what comes out is a angry, I-Don't-Give-A-Fuck DK the artist. You hear and feel his raw emotions on every track on this mixtape in result to his frustrations overall. He sounds hungry as an artist and coupled with the production of LB, his music sounds great on this one!
